Will Andy Christensen be playing next year or is this his last year? I've heard some people say he might be able to get a medical redshirt or something like that...

 
He'll probably get a medical. If he were done this year why would he be allowed to come back, practice and not even play?

 
He's been diagnosed with an "illness" by the team doctor. Meaning they are giving him a reason for missing the year other than that he isn't in shape so that he can get a medical redshirt and play next season.

 
Since this will be his 5th year, he will have to apply for a medical redshirt and there is no guarantee he will have one granted. Is being a classless jerk now considered an illness?

Oh, I assumed when they said he was getting a medical redshirt it was because he was playing Dr. (gynocologist). Sorry, had to do it.

He's been back on the team since early September so there's no reason why he wouldn't be at practice.

Search back in the LJS. He went MIA from practice. Bo said he was out with an "illness" and for them to stop asking about it. Have you heard him mentioned in any type of report or practice since? Did not think so.
