Daniel Easterly, 6'3" 180 athlete (safety maybe) decommits from Illinois and commits to Mizzou after his last weekend visit.

Word is that Matt Hoch - 6'5", 230 DE decommitted from Iowa and committed to Mizzou. Matt's bro, Dan will be a junior OT.

Bud Sasser, 6'4" Texas WR commits...

Come on Lucas Terry.... we're filling up fast.

The first two just want to play for a good team in the Big 10

Marcus Lucas must have read my post... he committed last night!

Mizzou's recruiting class now #14 in the country

Remember when I said a 14th ranked class FULL of WRs isn't going to improve a team that is horrible defensively? Remember? Remember when MU fans crowed for a month about their recruiting championship? Do you remember when people said it is terrible recruiting to take that many receivers when you already have too many on scholarship? Remember how Navy shut the vaunted MU offense down with TWO down linemen?

No offense MU . . . but I'm not too scared of your team or your recruiting. Until you find a defense and some competent coaches you will underachieve.

Would this weekend classify as a big recruiting weekend for Mizzou???

this is where its a double edged sword though...i keep seeing people 'defend' our large defensive class. i dont know what the right tact is. personally, in mizzous case, i think its more coaching than recruiting goofs. the mizzou coaches during that game looked more scared and lost on that sideline than the players.

It's not a double edged sword if you look at our roster. We have far fewer defensive scholarship players than offensive scholarship players next year. Therefore we are recruiting a defense heavy class. Missouri is already deep at WR and they keep recruiting them.
