That was the first answer that came to mind.

In truth I live in California, flew to RDU, stayed in Chapel Hill and drove  to Winston-Salem on 1-40, noting Greensboro along the way.

My in-laws are Carolinians.

It's a well-known fact that the students and faculty of The University of North Carolina Greensboro are socially-challenged nerds who never get invited to the cool parties. 

Fun fact UNC Greensboro had 28 wins in basketball and still did not make the NCAA tournament. I believe that is one of the highest win totals to not make the tournament.
