Another thing for Nebraska fans to worry about in Columbia

Just watched the Colbert Report, Monkey on the loose, already has bitten two children

That's no joke, it has been all over the news here. I did here on the radio this morning that they think the woman with the moneky is not from around here and that she has already left the area. Careful though, because I hear monkey are agitated by the color red!

I heared that the minky was TOUGFER THeN RAIN. Go tigger.

This might explain what happened the the "tough as rain" dude....he got bit by a monkey!!!!!

Maybe the monkey could be subdued by zookeepers who use "tough rain" on it!

Jim Rome was on 810 whb sportstalk in KC tonight and he confirmed he warned travelers to Columbia to consider renting a car with out of state license plates.

His car was with Nebraska plates was keyed and one tire slit on a previous trip to Columbia for the game.

I personally have not had that problem but it's been several years since I've been to Misery for a game.

sorry, even if i had a free ticket, i wouldn't go to this game. their fans are just classless and flat out dangerous. if we win i sure woudn't show up at a bar or anyplace wearing red. too bad they have to be this way.

Why would Jim Rome have been driving a car with Nebraska plates?

I live in KC and I work with some Mizzou folks. They are good people. I think the problem is probably with the out of control college kids. I agree that it's a bad idea to play this game at night. From the way things sound, Missouri shouldn't be allowed to have any games at night.

it's the people that get jacked up and go to the game that you have to worry about. sure, most of the people down there are fine, but the game atmosphere brings out the worst in people, especially a drunken crowd at night. very dangerous, everyone be careful down there!

I am one Missouri Fan who hates that other fans feel this way personally. I could tailgate with fans from any School (Kansas? Ouch). But I'm not denying it doesn't happen. Its college, thats not an excuse but it is reality i guess. I've not had any problems with any other Schools at games whether it be in Columbia or somewhere else. Do I have a "least favorite" Crowd? From my experiences that would have to be Colorado. I've seen too many rude and classless people with Buff shirts on but I don't believe for one second that the majority of the fans from Boulder are "Classless".....

Barnacle...
