Any Chance of a JUCO/Transfer QB?

That would fit Riley's style of offense better for when Tommy leaves? Would be nice to get someone in the system with a little bit of collegiate experience rather than have to solely rely on POB to carry the torch from day 1 if he isn't ready.

NO. NO. NO. We are recruiting an excellent young QB named Obrien who is coming in to school in January. We'll have him. Why bring in somebody in the fall with a short time left to back up Tommy ? Not likely to learn the offense in a short period. Doubt a juco could be here in January.

Don't think so. Perhaps a graduate transfer but not a JUCO at this point.

But I don't think we're looking for one.

FWIW on Unsportsmanlike Conduct on 1620 the Zone they brought up the possibility of this happening and mentioned its something the staff might look into

Someone mentioned the IWCC QB as a possibility, mostly because the Reavers were in Lincoln last week and he is an Omaha kid (his dad is also a HS coach). I think it is only speculation.
