Anyone else think team mottos are weird?

I don't know if Nebraska does this . . . and I hope they don't.

Missouri for the last few years has had a two word team motto. Last year it was "Beast Mode." This year it is "Get Money." (seriously.)

I think MU should maybe try a motto like "Beat OU or UT" instead.

Weird.

I think the closest thing to a team motto at Nebraska is "Finish."

And if that motto produces the same results that "Unfinished Business" did in 1994, I'm more than ok with it.

:yeah Well done Hercules. Exactly my sentiments about the matter.

See . . . "Finish" actually makes some sense. Particularly when compared to "Get Money."

After the recent MIPs it seems our motto should be "Stay thirsty my friends" Whether that applies to drinking or thirsting for another victory is up to you.

I think North Carolina's motto should be "get money" because they're so damn good at executing it.

Missouri would have "Beast Mode" and "Get Money" as their mottos.

Beast mode was an acronym. As for get money...i think its pretty lame. as do most other people. but then again i am nearly 30 and white.

"Get Money" is from some very popular rap songs. Also, the urban dictionary explains that 'get money' is to obtain cash through any means necessary, preferably through some sort of hustling & Working-out and building body strength.

Beast Mode... Beast Mode.... B. M.

I've got it - Bowel Movement! Amirite?
nice try smart a** <_<

it was Beast M.O.D.E. And, no, i have no clue what it stood for as the team would only say its personal and for them only.

but i guess it could be a double meaning. cause good ol urban dictionary states that Beast Mode is a hype, energetic, outgoing, wilding out state of mind. And when in a state of serious training or at a level of high effort.
