Granted, recruiting services at the time were limited to magazines such as SuperPrep and Blue Chip, but when asked what Star of athlete he was, he replied something to the affect "I don't know." Talked about how stars mearsure height, weight and speed...and that they don't tell you how good of football player the prospect is.
not to mention he talked about his mentoring program in Omaha, expanding to Lincoln and further outstate.
