Anyone watch the Oregon USC game?

Oregon is fun as hell to watch. They are not predictable on O or D. They are also constantly moving forward, looking for holes, have an extremely mobile QB, and don't second guess anything at the line. They exude confidence. I know this is the Huskerboard and I'm talking about how much fun I had watching the Oregon game, but Scott Frost is their WR coach so that should count shouldn't it? :cheers

Anyways, I would love to see us have an offense that is looking at moving forward every play, not constantly second guessing the opposing defense. Let them second guess where we are going instead of them dictating our play calling. I couldn't even hit the skip button or I would miss a play with Oregon. With our current O I can go get a drink and we still haven't hiked the ball. This gives defenses a long look at us every play. I think Oregon is onto something there. What do you guys think?

I wish we could have an emoticon??? of a guy who is standing behind the line of scrimmage, then all of a sudden he starts shaking his hands all over the place and then starts pointing across the line of scrimmage frantically like our quarterbacks do. I seriously laugh and shake my head every time I see this. Only Peyton Manning should be allowed to do this..lol.

More Sports >NCAA..

Look it up, post it there. Dont be lazy. Discuss it there.

I did catch some of this game. I have never seen any team run it with authority like this on a Pete Carroll USC team. I know we recruited LaMichael James and he ended up at Oregon. They are very interesting to watch with their brand of offense. They stubbed their toe out of the gate with Boise State but since then have been clicking on offense. QB Masoli is from City College of San Francisco...same as Zac Lee...imagine if we had Masoli! :o

I took a look at their coaches. I knew Scott Frost was there as WR's coach (I'd like to have Frost back at NU at some point). Chip Kelly is of course head coach who took over for Mike Bellotti. He was the OC prior and is the offensive mind at Oregon. Interesting if you check out the coaches page as the current OC is formerly of Colorado...I didn't know that but assume Kelly is the main offensive guy. The OL coach seems to be longtime Oregon guy. And check out who is under Frost on the page...a guy that happens to have the name Tom Osborne...pretty ironic!

USC is still going to play for the NC because they won't drop in the ratings. The voters said USC played real good against a top 10 team. That's what ESPN just said. I agree. Why should they drop when they hardly dropped losing to a non-ranked team. Sounds fair to me.

Yeah, I'm always blown away at how we drop out of the top 25 usually if we lose, but teams like USC, Miami, and Ohio State (who spends the season barely winning) stay in the top 10 usually after a loss. Not that there is any bias in college football or anything lol.

Addison, I wanted to discuss it here because I'm not interested in what others think. I'm interested in what my fellow Huskers think. It wasn't from laziness, it was posted because it's the direction of offense that I would love to see us going in and I wanted opinions from others on it that bleed red.

With two losses and probably 4 undefeated teams at the end of they season, they don't have a chance at the NC game. They will be out of the top 10 now, I would bet.

I put it int he forum I did because this is the type of offense that I wish the Huskers were running. I wanted it in Husker Football forum instead of NCAA, because I wanted Husker opinions. No offense to anyone.

It has to make Suh sick to watch Oregon contend for the NC while he's stuck in Lincoln with a mediocre team.

USC dropped all the way to 13th in the USAtoday poll. I love it!
