AR-15 Castle Nut

My AR-15 has the old style RE nut.

It has the 3 holes instead of the square slots.

My issue is finding the old wrench to take it off.

You can find them but they are pricey.

My plan is once I remove it to replace it.

Anyone else have this problem, any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.

Do you have a gunshop nearby that has an armorer or gunsmith? I'd try there first.

Looks like the price is $40-60 depending. Expensive for a one time use.......
