Are we calling this the "Corn Bowl?"

No...no name. Doesn't mean it can't have special significance or anything. But unless somebody comes along with something a hell of a lot better than The Corn Bowl or Farmegeddon, I'm definitely in the anti crowd. There's more than rural agriculture in our respective states, anyway. I mean, why don't we just call it the "John Deere Bib Overall Jamboree Festival Featuring Folks Farming Food For Future Finances?"

I nominate that, actually. If that fails, we can call it the Annual Bird Murder.

Or we can call it nothing. I just want to call it the game that solidifies our spot in the CCG.

I'm calling it Farmageddon.

I'd embrace a corn themed game. Corn is a big part of both state's economy. Screw the rest of the country that makes fun of our corn bowl, or let them starve (smilie emoticon). The only problem I see is it might appear to favor the cornhusker mascoted team, especially when we are leading the series 15-3.

Personally, I have always been partial to Farmaggedon. It seems to have the right amount of mayhem inherent. Corn bowl seems a little hickish and The Heroes Game just seems like something desperate and totally out of right field. It might "might" be a moot point if and when the Legends division gets realigned to allow for Rutgers and the Turtles. I think Iowa is worthy of annual hatred but I can think of a red and white team a bit further north that the feeling just seems to come a bit more naturally.
