Arkansas - heavy, flooding rains

Everything is cool here. That's the trouble with this damn state - when there's lots of precipitation, it's too warm for snow. On those rare days when it's cold enough for snow, there's no precipitation.

For those of you in the Motherland, that may seem a good thing, but after a while it just doesn't seem like the holidays when there's no snow...

Yea I have thought about that. I don't know if the holidays would seem right without some chilly weather and some snow.

We don't get that much snow here anymore in Des Moines. It usually doesn't snow until January and then we only get one or two big snow falls. When I was a kid it would start snowing in October and snow until March or April. The weather is definately changing up here!!!

I'd take snow everyday over the sh**ty ice we get in KC. I wish every ice storm was followed directly by a downpour of kitty litter.
