Armstrong's butterfingers have cost us Abdullah

What's amazing are the mental gymnastics some of you go through to find something new to b!^@h about
.Actually, the bitching about snap problem isn't new. It's been going on since the Michigan State game.
Was this the first Nebraska game you saw this season, per chance?
I'm pretty sure that isn't what he was talking about. Blaming Armstrong for Ameer's injury is quite possibly the most amazing mental twist ever on this board.

Now he should be kicked off the team? Wow.
For the record I was just trying trying to post something dumber than than the OP.
That's impossible to do.

That whooshing sound was my point going right over your head.
Thank goodness that's all it was...I thought it was another snap from center Armstrong failed to corral.

Here's the deal: Bad things of all sorts come from poor play. Quarterbacks get crushed when a back give a matador block on a blitz, punt returners get blasted when the guys blocking the gunners decide just to run along side them and chicken fight down the field, punters get smashed when the O-line takes the play off and hopes the guy across the line does the same, and sometimes, SOMETIMES players get hurt trying to clean up after someone else's poor ball security...oh, and it can also lead to an offensive performance as showcased in the Michigan State game.

Is any of this not true?...rhetorical question, because if you watched more than a dozen games, you have seen each and every one of these things happen, except for the notable exception of ElbyHusker, I guess.

Now, sh!t happens, but it's not like this "catch the damn snap, Tommy" problem is/was a "once in a blue moon, who could have seen THAT coming?" thing.

I won't b!tch too hard, because it's no lineman broke his leg or Abdullah tore an ACL or blew out his knee, or we lost THIS game because of it. But enough is enough. This not being able to consistently handle a snap is a problem, so fix it. If Armstrong isn't fixable, then next man up.

...and we can just cut and paste my last post when Armstrong finally gets a receiver blown up with his high consistently high throws on the middle routes and we have a similar thread on that.

Based on the thread title, im going to say this: saying that Armstrong is somehow responsible for Ameer's injury is flat out incorrect and borders on idiotic.

Football injuries happen. Im just as bummed about it as the next Husker fan, but nobody should somehow blame the snap/Armstrong for what happened.

Yes this thread is ridiculous but anyone hear any more updates on Ameer after he was said to have a mild MCL sprain? How serious is the sprain?

You can not believe any medical reports from this staff, never have been able to. He did seem to be walking normally at the end of the game. I hope we are smart enough not to play him until he is 100%. We have a history of not doing that.

I know he is a warrior, and he wants to be back out there. But he has a future in this game. That is more important, he has given all he can. So thankful he is not facing the Treadwell injury. Man that really sucked for Ole Miss and the kid.

It's obvious that this thread will start to spiral out of control. I think it's outlived it's usefulness if there was that in the first place.
