As it Should be...

I have been to Lincoln many times. I have watched the likes of Keith Jackson triumphs and watched as Eric Crouch did what Nate Hybl could not. A tradition unlike any other.

I am incredibly sad by Nebraska leaving for the Big10. There is no rivalry in sports quite like OU vs. Nebraska. So many incredible memories of heartbreak and joy but always of admiration.

It's a shame it has to truly come to an end but there is no better way for the Big12/Big8 to dissolve than with the two who defined the league for so many decades.

Best of luck to you Huskers on Saturday but as well in the Big10. Go show them how we play football here.

Go Big Red

Thanks! I was just writing to a friend of mine who went to OU and remains a Sooner fan to the core. We've had so much fun ribbing each other about the various games over the years. It IS sad that we won't get to play you guys anymore. If there was a school that I would love to take along with us to the Big 10 it would be you guys. Best wishes on the game on Saturday. It will be a Homecoming like no other.

I was dreaming of this as soon as they announced the split.

the fact that it is a championship game makes it all the sweeter
