Assuming NU wins the North in 2010

Who would you rather play in the Big 12 CCG?

The past 11 South division champs have been either OU (7) or UT (4). Since the majority of posters here seem to relish the NU/OU match-ups let's assume the winner of the OU/UT game on 10/2 will play in the Big 12 CCG against NU.

Which scenario would you prefer?

-- OU defeating UT on 10/2 to lock up their spot against NU on 12/4?

OR

-- UT defeating OU on 10/2 to lock up their spot against NU on 12/4?

The first scenario means it'd be our last shot at playing OU as a conference opponent. But it also means that UT will have 1 loss before coming to Lincoln on 10/16.

The second scenario would mean our last game against OU as a conference opponent was played in 2009. It also means that we'll play an undefeated UT twice in 2010 (Oct. 16th and Dec. 4th).

I would rather play Oklahoma one last time for old times sake. We have Texas on our home turf for the last time and that's the way it should be. Dictate on our own terms if you will :)

 
Dream scenario. 12-0 OU vs 12-0 NU for a trip to the National Championship on the line...Just like it should be...Only thing that would make it sweeter was if the NC was being played in the Orange Bowl...

i voted for oklahoma, but honestly i think tu would be easier. mack brown gets the players, but i think bo can out scheme him pretty well. stoops gets the players and he is a pretty good game coach.

 
I voted for OU. If we weren't already playing Texas I would have voted for them but since we are I think it would be neat to beat our old rival on the way out.

 
I voted for Texa$$, but ask me again on 10/17. If we really hammer them in Lincoln, then I'd rather play OU, but if not, I'd want another chance to snap those goofy horns right of their self-righteous heads.

Neither team. I would love to see A&M beat UT and OU and the rest of the Big 12 teams (with the exception of us of course) and meet them again in the Big 12 Championship.

 
I would love to beat Texas on 10/16 then come back again in the CCG and beat those whorns again and really stick it to them and their pompus university and their self-absorbed fan base.

 
Winning the north shouldnt be the problem. For some strange reason with the Big 12 being extremely bitter towards us I can see us getting the raw end of the deal.

 
OU, if we beat Texa$$ on 10/16. Don't want to play the same team twice.

And, I don't want to have to play a longer than regulation football game again.

 
I picked OU because I've never liked the Big 12 Championship Game. Why play the same team twice? Plus, how bad would it be if we lost to Texas twice this year? This wouldn't exactly be the kind of exit most of us are hoping for.

 
I said OU, because that would be a fitting way to leave Big 12 play for good, with a win over our former rival.

As much as I've come to know some of their fans lately, I'd sure love to beat them twice this season, but yeah..I always favor OU over the shorthorns..especially when OU doesn't play us that season..You should never play the same team twice in the same season ('78 OB).

If we beat tu by ~35, it should even up the point differential for the Big-12 era.

But I think we still owe them ~5 beatdowns for the overall series.

OU has an even bigger lead overall.
