per Rivals: Notre Dame is the only program recruiting four-star Goodyear, Ariz., athlete Marquis Flowers at running back. And although Flowers has said the position won't make a difference, the Irish have set themselves up to get an official visit when the time comes.

 
Well we mind as well offer him as a running back if its going to help out chances with him. I mean, who else do we have on our radar at RB? We need at least 1 decent RB in this class desperately IMO

 
Defensive back Marquis Flowers (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium) has played things pretty close to the vest all year. He took official visits to Arizona, Arizona State, USC and UCLA but many feel this is a Wildcat-Trojan battle. Following his visit to USC, Flowers raved about his time in Los Angeles and said the Trojans had "drawn even" with Arizona.

When a player raves about a visit, but still has the local favorite as a co-leader, it usually means they're in pretty good shape. This one is close, but the Cats appear to be the likely winner.
