Autographs? Who Knows??

A question that I have wondered for awhile. Those of us that live out of state and don't get up to Lincoln very often are at a dis-advantage as far as possible contact with NU staff.Is there any sort of way to send item's for signature to T.O or Bo?

I know that T.O. really doesn't like to give autographs if he can help it. Could a person send an item like a helmet to the North stadium offices with a request for an autograph be possible? Has anyone ever heard of this being available?

I know if this became common knowledge that T.O. would probably be inundated with requests.I have been wanting to get my helmet autographed but cannot ever get away for fan day.Even if you do get there, 90 minutes is never enough time.

Maybe a generous sole on this board who has contact with staff could be a go between as long as people didn't take advantage of it. :lol:

I'm almost positive that they'll have Tom or Bo sign whatever you want signed. Last fall for the 09' season I sent a letter to the Athletic department about getting tickets for the 300th consecutive game and got a response back with Tom with his actually signature on the letter and an e-mail from the ticket office when a contack number and a person to ask for. I also sent a mini Husker helmet to the University of Nebraska Omaha and got Trev Alberts to sign it for my father for one of his bestman gifts (I'll post pictures when I get back from the honeymoon).

Every since Tom took control of the Athletic Department things like this that you are asking about are welcome throughout the University and to its fans and something that was overlooked and frowned apon when Steve Peterson was here. Trust me send if I was you I would send an e-mail to the Athletic Department about your request to see what they will say and then if they approve which more than likely they will send your item and a nice letter thanking them for doing this nice gesture.
