Head Coach
I heard about this a few weeks ago and there was another story today in the OWH about it. How many of you guys do there or did go there when you were in Lincoln?

I don't ever remember going there when I was in college in the mid-late 90's but I went there once last year when I was in Lincoln for a game. The place seemed kind of empty but I might check it out on Saturday.

The article mentioned that Switzer and Nee and other coaches would hit that place, to bad that there are so many jackasses out there now that would take pictures and video of a coach having a drink after a game that they cant do that anymore.

It was a pretty big deal at one time. One of the writers from the Journal Star owned it and it quickly became one of the places you had to go. I remember as a kid always going there and to a place called Chesterfields that was in the basement of a building across from the Nebraska Bookstore. I used to venture into Barry's for lunch every couple of weeks when I lived in Lincoln and worked for the paper, but hadn't been there in probably 8 or 9 years on a game day.

Chesty's was awesome, as was the Big Red Billiard room, on the other side of the hall. Threw a lot of darts there, and at WC's, back in the day. WC's has closed down, too.
