BB, Men vr Women

I have always enjoyed basketball. High School, I didn't miss a home game at my highschool from 6th grade until my 4th year of college, 15 years. I loved NBA and especially the Celtics from Cousy's last year through the Larry Bird years. I was into University of Iowa BB from 'Super' Sam Williams through the Tom Davis years. I fell in love with the Drake Bulldogs when my cousin Don started for them and went to the Final Four and lost in the semis to Lew Alcindor and UCLA. I think the first 4 days of the NCAA Tourney is the best 4 days of sports, college or pro. This weekend I've watched the semis of both the Men's and Women's tourney and have come to the conclusion that the ladies play a better brand of ball. The game last night between U Conn and Kentucky was almost hard to watch. Play for the 3 over and over again. The three point shot is ruining the men's game. Its a shame.

What is so bad about the three point shot? How are guards supposed to score points on offense without it? Take to the whole against a 7 footer who camps in the lane? If anything it helps the game. It does not take away fast break offense because I still see plenty of that from turnovers.

And this is not a better brand of basketball. It may be a joke, but it is somewhat true.
