SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) Isaiah Swann scored a season-high 16 points and Andrew Wilson added 15 to help Florida State extend its winning streak to seven games with a 74-60 victory over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl Classic on Saturday.
Al Thornton had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Seminoles (9-1).
Joe McCray scored 14 points and B.J. Walker had 10 points for Nebraska (9-3). Jason Dourisseau had nine points and 11 rebounds.
The Seminoles scored 14 straight points including two 3-pointers by Wilson in a 4:02 span midway through the second half to open a 56-38 lead. The Cornhuskers never threatened after that and trailed by as many as 24 points, 71-47, with 2:30 left.
Wilson scored nine points to help Florida State take a 32-28 halftime lead. Swann scored four points to spark a 12-4 run during a 4:27 span late in the first half.
Wilson finished 4-of-5 from 3-point range, while Swann was 2-of-8.
The Cornhuskers hit just 4 of 12 free throws overall and shot 39 percent in the second half in their first game this season outside of the state of Nebraska.
