Just read this about BC. Don't think it tells the whole picture. I still support the team and coaching staff until someone can prove otherwise over the long haul (at least 5 years).

this year was just a culmination of mediocre players trying to learn an offense they were not recruited for. The records that fell hurt, but we can only go up from here.

It pretty much sums it up perfectly, except that O'Leary's year couldnt have been much worse, everything considered.

The only other thing he said that was wrong was "Even the most skilled spin doctor would struggle to find a silver lining in Callahan’s first year at Nebraska."

Heck, I see the spin doctors here every day trying to put a silver lining in a hurricane.

You have to consider there are 48 other states (I don't think they play football in Alaska) with football teams, columnists and what have you that have been waiting to bash NU for 40 years. Yes the season sucked and many of the losses can be blamed on strange coaching decisions. We will find out here shortly if Callahan can coach or not.

Did you catch the story in the OWH Sunday. Obviously bill the idiot had no idea what he was getting into, nor did he really care. All he wanted to do was to prove that his system was a good one, s**t on everything else.
