Beer sales in Memorial Stadium?

I guess I really don't see "negatives"

Fans that are loud? Fans that are rude? Fights?

I mean...basically some of that stuff happens anyway. I am not a huge fan of taking things away from people because a few morons don't know how to act...

I am guessing there are crazy start up costs...with that being said...there are also some local brew places that would LOVE to have a shot and having some beer stands set up and more than likely actually pay the school to set up shop.

I can see the ESPN headline now.

"Husker Fans in drunken stupor, sales of Beer allowed at games"

Forever tarnishing our "greatest fans" reputation

Maybe...but I am nice to other fans because I am not a d!(k...drinking has nothing to do with that for me...when I drink I just get cooler...funnier...taller...stronger...better looking...richer...I become better at dancing...I can read girls minds and I know they want me to come talk to them...I know that girls want me to comment on their body...

So...basically arrogant.

Not gonna happen plain and simple
I think it will happen for basketball...very soon.

Football...probably not anytime soon
does anyone know what the projected revenue would be? money talks and this would be an easy way to get more bang for your buck from home games.

The university gets 0% of the concession sales at Pinnacle.
I wonder if you can sell a "beer-buying" wristband for two dollars...you gotta have it to buy beer. Then the school keeps the 2 dollars from each wristband

Colorado State sells beer at their current stadium (they used to sell Runzas too). They only sell beer until the end of the 3rd quarter. I think they are 16 oz beers for something around $7.

The only out of control a-holes I've seen at their games were underage college kids that were being obnoxious because they were getting their asses kicked.
