Ben Roethlisberger crashes motorcycle

I wonder if he is going to get the bad plublicity like Winslow and Williams got when they had their motorcycle accidents. Something tells me that he will not because he is looked at as a sort of hero type more so than Kellen and Jay.

Both were brought up on Colin Cowshead and Dan Patrick shows on ESPN radio earlier. I don't think there's a good way he can spin this.

 
i guess its pretty serious, a bunch of his teeth were knocked out, he has a 8-9 inch laceration on the back of his head, messed up his knees real bad.

always wear a helmet, it might not give you 100 percent protection, but its better than nothing.

 
man this sucks, hes in serious condition, and does have a huge gash in the back of his head. i hope hes alright, forget about football right now, i just hope hes ok.

 
He probably would be better if he would have actually put a f-ing helmet on. What was he thinking???? I am guessing he is done with football. He didn't want to look like a loser with a helmet on. Well, I have one question....was it worth it????

 
no, its not carreer thrreatening, should be back for game one actually, he is at the moment only slated to miss the start of training camp

 
What will it take for these guys to realize that they can't do this. I mean owners and teams (and cities for that matter) invest millions of dollars in these guys, and they go out and risk all that for a simple joy ride. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!

If I was making the same $$$ that he was I would be at home rubbing honey on my hamstrings and soaking in a bath of gatorade!!! I wouldn't be riding a deathcycle w/o a helmet!!! :wacko:

I guess Bradshaw had told him a month or so back to ditch the motorcycle till he retires. This may go on record as the first time anyone should have listened to Terry Bradshaw. :lol:
