At a world brewing convention in the States, the CEOs of various brewing organizations retired to the bar at the end of each day's conferencing.

Bruce, CEO of Fosters, shouted to the Barman: "In 'Strylya, we make the best bladdy beer in the world, so pour me a bladdy Fosters, mate."

Bob, CEO of Budweiser, calls out next: "In the States, we brew the finest beers of the world, and I make the king of them all, gimme a Bud."

Hans steps up next: "In Germany ve invented das beer, ferdamt. Give me ein Becks, ya ist der real King of beers, danke."

Paddy, CEO of Guinness, steps forward: "Barman, would ya give me a diet coke with ice and lemon. Tanks." The others stare at him in stunned silence, amazement written all over their faces.

Eventually Bruce asks: "Are you not going to have a Guinness, Pat?"

Paddy replies "Well, if you fookin' pansies aren't drinkin', then neither am I!"

Yea, I'm not sure about that. I have never had it, but the people who drink it think it's the best thing since sliced bread and like to lambast any other beer

You've tried the river water? There is nothing like a nice cold glass of Guiness with a meal. :cheers

Personally, I like cold beer.

I usually drink the old standbys which include one or more of the following: Bud Light, Budweiser, MGD, Miller Lite, etc.

When I feel like it, I will pick up some Bass, Harp or Rolling Rock.

It's good, and cheap.

Rolling Rock is ok, but gives me the worst headaches.

Becks is pretty good, but more pricy than the High Life.

To get the TRUE taste of Guinness, go run a marathon in 100 degree heat wearing a pair of socks and underwear (that have been sitting in your hamper for a few weeks), take the sweat from said undergarments, wring it into a glass, and drink it at room temperature.

Im not so sure why Guinness drinkers are so anal about their beer either. Its not like is has substantially more alcohol than other beers, it just tastes like crap.

I prefer a good Boulevard, but the Millers and Buds are pretty good, too. A few weeks ago, a buddy of mine from work had a case of beer from Minnesota (I cant recall the name) that we drank at room temperature, and that was the smoothest, non-bitter beer that I have ever drank. It was awesome :cheers

I love a good wheat beer, and the best I've ever had I drank from tap at a bar in Chicago called Sheffield's. Beer is called Tabernash Wiess, and it's brewed in Colorado. Absolutely wonderful flavor and strong as well.

Back in my college days it was nothing but natual light. hell I play on a softball team now called team natural thats all what we use to drink. Now busch light 30 pack for 13 dollars :cheers :wasted
