Best College RB of All-Time?

You guys can have your own discussion but here's a sampling of what the Carolina Panthers- and a couple Blackshirts- had to say:

Best collegiate runner of all time?
Safety Mike Minter and a crowd of defensive linemen showed almost as much passion in the locker room Friday as they had expended in practice earlier. Players were debating who the best college running back of all time was, and there were many strong opinions.

Minter, with backing from fellow Nebraska alum Mike Rucker, made a furious pitch for the Cornhuskers' Mike Rozier. Everyone else, led by defensive tackle Brentson Buckner, opted for Marcus Allen, Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson.

What about Red Grange?

I don't know about Rozier being the best ever but you gotta love a couple former players, defensive guys no less, making a "furious pitch" for a RB that played about a decade before they even arrived at NU.

Yea boys! Stick it to 'em!

As far as the best goes...I hate doing these things for college. 3 or 4 years just isn't enough to evaluate a player like that. This is was too subjective, any of dozens and dozens have a case.

That said, I vote Mike as well.

I will have to say Earl Campbell...

In '77 when he won the Heisman, he had 1744 yards, which is impressive, but the fact that 800 of those were YAC (yards after contact), makes it insane...
