Best Seats in the House

In a different thread I posted and it made me think of this and I’d like to hear thoughts from ya’ll….

The last 23yrs my dad has had alumni seats in North Stadium. When he first got them, we were in section B Row96, just below the giant screen. Since then over the years he’s been able to move us down into a nice section where we can hear the pads pop w a little better view (closer).

I love the end zone seats because you can see plays develop, find holes in zones or see a player in great space to make a play. When it’s in your end zone you get to watch us score or get so loud the other team can’t hear. For instance, the pick 6 in 2024 v Colorado. The Niorth Stadium was literally shaking.

It’s the view of what the team watches on film. You can also see both sidelines, can start the wave from there, watch the whole band perform etc etc…

I have seen games from the 80s til 2025 from all 4 stadiums in different rows, sections, coaches boxes and sidelines.

So where do you all sit? Have you seen games from all places in the whole stadium? what is your preference? What was the best place/seat and maybe attach a memory.
(Caveat, I’ve never watched a game from the top of East stadium).

one of my favorite memories from the North Stadium is when Henery made a 57yd field goal v CU.
One of my worst memories from the same seats is when Rex Burkhead was wide open against Texass in 2010 and dropped a pass.

My father had season tickets 64 rows up in the north end zone from the 70's thru the 90's.

I much as I thought the seats sucked when I was younger I began to appreciate the view as I got older. The line opening holes wide enough for the entire backfield to walk through... WR routes were fascinating and so exciting when a receiver was all alone downfield...

Seats higher up in the end zone kind of suck in that it took a pretty tight game, or Oklahoma, for the excitement of the crowd to reach that high in the stadium, and many games in that era were in the 45-14 category.
 
My dad was a pilot for a very rich dude in the 60’s. They flew to the athletic department when the south stadium was being built and there was a map of the new south stadium and the seats being offered. My dad literally had first pick, so he chose section 16, row 50. (?) seats 1 and 2. It’s right by the tunnel. He kept them until his death in 2011. They were good seats for me. They were all I knew.
 
Went to my first game in 1995 and sat in South high up which was nice being able to see both sidelines and the play develop. The next time I got to go to a game was 2017 vs Northwestern and I was I think in East which were alright seats at about the 25 or 30 yard line.
