Bethune-Cookman Week Pressers

As for this weekend, I heard someone say this on the radio and I agree with it.

I'm not too concerned about the offense other than it just needs to keep the train rolling.  Go out, take care of business and put up a lot of points without stupid mistakes.  I think they will.

But, as for the defense.  They need a game where they go out and dominate.  This is a game they can do that.  If BC puts up more than 20 points, it's not a good day for the defense.

I don't think this year's defense will ever be in a position to "dominate".  The talent and consistency isn't there.  I fully expect BC to put up 21-24 points.  You may think it's not a good day for the defense, but I don't think we will see a "good day" for the defense in most fans' eyes this year.

Verduzco has said explicitly that he only wants to coach QBs, not be an OC or anything. I could maybe see him leaving for an NFL job, but that's about it.

I think Verduzco will stay with Frost as QB coach long as he wants.  He's got to be in his 60s (I couldn't find his DOB on the interweb), so I doubt he wants to try the NFL, and he's at the biggest college program in his career.  I think Frost gives him a ton of freedom in coaching the QB's, so I don't see Verduzco leaving anytime soon (if at all).

Yeah...this is his death job...he will be carried out in a coffin before he leaves.

He was a high school assistant coach in ‘77 and a GA in ‘91.

We can probably assume he was at least 22 in ‘77 and that would make him 63.
