Better coaching staff OSU or NU

I'm a firm believer that your coach is only as good as their halftime adjustments. It was clear that Nebraska made better adjustments at halftime than OSU as they showed significant improvement whereas OSU looked sluggish. Is Scott Frost the superior coach to Ryan Day?

Pretty good trolling. At least an A for effort.

OSU was just trying to stay conscious for the rest of the game. I'm not sure if Day and Frost are friends or what, but Ohio St could have scored as much as they wanted. They chose not to for whatever reason.

It's difficult to compare the two staffs.  Totally different situations.  Ryan Day took over a powerhouse, top 10 team chock full of 4* recruits on their way to the NFL.   And he's done a fine job of keeping Urban's juggernaut headed in the right direction.   Then look back 20 months ago at the Mike Riley team that Scott Frost inherited.  And how many of Riley's top recruits bailed out within the first few months?  Frost has an uphill battle.  It's a process that's gonna take a bit of time.

Runza ball.  GREAT screen name!   :D

I think this conversation needs shelved for a few years. As soon as the Huskers and Buckeyes field equal talent and we are in a dog fight. Then lets see who adjusts when its all on the line.

I'm not sure that ever happens. Nebraska is going to have to be the team that out schemes and adjusts whoever the power in the east is if it wants to win big10 titles. Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State are most likely always going to out recruit Nebraska. Frost and co have to find a way to get close in talent then out coach them.

Greg Mattison was a homerun hire from Michigan that not a lot took notice to. He completely revamped OSU to a powerhouse Defense. And now look at Michigan this year. Kevin Wilson is also a solid OC that has proven he can score points, just not the best HC. Either way,  Urban left that staff with a ridiculous amount of talent. Larry Johnson has also been a main staple for that football program, especially in recruiting.

Are you saying in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s we had inferior talent to all those teams? You talk like we can’t reach that level

And  5* recruits. Second most in NCAA on their roster.

No we did then but a lot has changed. Do you really think Nebraska is going to start bringing in top 10 Recruiting classes every year or find every diamond in the rough 3 star? All i mean is i don't think Nebraska is ever just going to out talent the ohio state's and penn state's of the conference.
