BIG RED IS BACK

This NU team can win out against every team on their schedule this year. Any slips, especially this week, will result in the departure of the love and respect NU is starting to get.

As a team and staff they know what to do. Let's see if they can it done. It's all up to them.

I don't think you will find anybody around here that doesn't think we can't win every game on our schedule. Our point is, until we at least are competitive for or win a B12 title and are in a BCS game, we aren't back.

This is Nebraska. It takes a little more than a win over a barely top 25 team to bring us back to where we were. Not that I wasn't happy about the win, I wanted it a lot and thought it was important. The thing is when we fell, as you know, we fell a really long way. It just simply takes longer to climb when you have to go that much higher than most programs do.

As said before; when people just know we are a force and stop asking if we're back, then we're back.

After being in the wilderness for those years, I'm just enjoying the fact that we're part of the conversation again. You know that you've sunk pretty low when just the return to being RELEVANT feels really good. Think back to where we were a couple of seasons ago. There was nothing to look forward to. In my heart of hearts, I know we found exactly the right coach at exactly the right time. In the span of ONE year the new staff has taken us from the depths of the unknown back to the nation's consciousness. That's HUGE, so have a little patience and faith. These things do not happen overnight (although this staff appears to have us going at warp speed in the right direction). Enjoy the ride!

IMO- nu is "back" when they win the b12 and start getting considered for the bcs title game.

but opinions vary...
