As Omaha residents know, Cox Cable is basically the only option that you have if you cannot mount a satellite dish on your residence. Both the Big Ten Network and WatchESPN offer replays of Husker games and live Husker game feeds to customers of certain cable providers. (Like DirecTV, Dish, Charter, etc.) Both networks say that they would gladly expand to other providers and encourage those customers to contact those providers and ask for these services.
I'm going to email Cox at least once a week in the hopes of seeing some results. I would have to imagine that more emails from more people would increase the likelihood of Cox expanding their offerings to include BTN2GO and WatchESPN. Here is the link to the email page for Cox Communications. Sending this email will take less than 5 minutes and we might be able to see some real results. I encourage all Cox customers to join me in requesting these services! Thanks!
Edit: Here is the text of the email that I sent if you want to copy and paste.

Hello, as a Husker fan I would love to have access to BTN2GO (from the Big Ten Network) and WatchESPN (from ESPN.com). Other providers like Dish Network, DirecTV and Charter offer these services to their customers and Cox's failure to provide similar access makes those providers more attractive. Please consider adding these services as I would prefer to not change providers. Thanks!
