Big Ten Running Backs/Papuchis quote

I really don't think there's much to criticize here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are pretty strict regulations about contact in practices and so on.
If that's the case, and I am not saying you are wrong in any sense, then why does it seem like Nebraska misses more tackles than anyone else in the country?
I could be wrong, but I've never heard of that. Be interested if true.

I'd be all for Warren returning next year. I think he's a helluva coach, and the poor tackling was a product of the system, not his ability as a coach.

I agree. I think Warren is solid. Don't care a lick if anyone else stays. Except Cotton. I think in addition to a dedicated ST coach we need a dedicated coach for all Cotton offspring

“We call it bloody Tuesday,” Meyer said. “It's awful. Inside drills, run emphasis – just bad stuff. It's all the hard blitzes, all the hard looks.”

Ever since Meyer entered the coaching profession, he has harped on mental toughness. Pushing players to their furthest limit and beyond exhaustion has been a hallmark. But it isn’t a sadistic practice; rather Meyer wants his team to be prepared.

I would have been glad to move on, but the SI just showed up at my house yesterday, and I read it this morning. And because tackling has been a question mark for years, I thought it was pertinent.
