I'm not sure two good teams, three mediocre teams and one bad team really qualifies as a brutal schedule.

With OSU beating Wisconsin by a similar score as they did Nebraska, its apparent that no team from the West will likely be able to beat OSU, and likely no team from the East will as well. I think Penn State is really good, but not playing at a level OSU is this year.
So, with Wisconsin losing two, the Minnesota loss was even worse than expected for the Huskers as a win would have put Nebraska tied for 1st in the West. Iowa is also looking pretty solid as they usually do so I would not sleep on them either.
