on a positive note, good to know that the coaches are hittin the old recruiting trail. i hope the team continues to work hard and prepare themselves for what looks to be an exciting bowl matchup with michigan, iowa, ucla etc.. :restore2 :bat

BC got to talk longer with TO than I ever did. Go figure me being a born/bred GBR native but I have a signed More than Winning book. HAH. Haven't had the pleasure to talk with BC yet. :horns2

LOL thats callahan for you. BOy he sure his cocky after win over a mediocre cu team. Does he know that the 2 games prior we looked terrible? You would think we had 12 wins.

Not that this "brief chat" really meant alot, but it should have happened much, much sooner. The minute billy c was hired, he should have been on the phone with TO having a heart-to heart, telling him that he was going to "do his best" to uphold the great traditions of NU football, and that he wanted TO and ALL of the Huskers from the past to support him, as they are as welcome at Memorial Stadium as the ever have been. If he would have done that instead of being standoffish towards some of the previous coaches and players, he might be received better.

Nice to see, but a little too little, a little too late, IMO.
