Blackshirts and crowd noise

I was at the 2002 Texas game and I've heard that it's one of the loudest in recent years. Other games that I've heard that were the loudest are the '94 Colorado, and the '01 Oklahoma. Do you think the screens and the extra stuff people end up listening to keep the crowd from being loud the whole time?? At another board posters said that the CU game was the loudest start-to-finish and at every play. Either way, I'm ready to stand and be loud this Saturday!

 
That is an interesting question about the new board taking away from the crowd noise. I would say this year that it has since most people kind of have been in "aww" of it. At least the people that I have sat by during the games, they tend to watch the screen between plays and sometimes during rather than cheering on the team. Hopefully that wears off and they become loud the whole time.

 
I really don't care what the blue hairs say because I'm standing the whole game and if they don't like it they can exit stage left!!! I don't get to go to as many games as they do so they can kiss my a$$!!!! I plan on having no voice and being deaf by the time I leave!!!! :bonez

Those problems, Blackshirts say, have been fixed, and defensive end Jay Moore encouraged the crowd to let loose when Texas is on offense Saturday. “Be as loud as you want,” Moore said. “Don’t worry about being quiet so we can get the calls. Definitely make some noise out there.”

Ya I am pumped it will definitely be loud and crazy, I can't see texas getting too up for this game and I don't think Colt knows what lies in wait...............I feel the upset brewing and I am geeked.

Thats right! The blue hairs need to realize that this a game for not sitting. Everybody needs to stand and yell at the top of thier lungs! :hellloooo
