Nice move by Bando. Onegame doesnt make it. His performance this year-and im sure he would agree-has mostly been garbage. Ive really been down on him considering his ability and legacy with the bikes and appearing to not be ready to play this year. But this is a huge step back to gaining my full resect.
Maybe it's just an unfounded phantom memory, but I seem to recall the D playing worse after Blackshirts were handed out in too many previous seasons.
If I remember it right, I hope that is another trend that we break this year. Encouraging if Banderas received one but felt he had not yet earned it. That is good leadership and accountability, and an example for others to follow.

Yes it probably wasn't Roach's best game of the season but he did have what...7 tackles by halftime I mean I don't think Bando out played him. Although Bando looked like he was out to prove that he doesn't suck that's for sure.

Northwestern in 2011 was a pretty sh**ty performance defensively. And also, considering the dumpster fire Michigan St was offensively in 2012, givin them 24 points and allowing them to do some of the things they did was pretty underwhelming as well.
