Well he was dinged up plus the Coaches felt that Dillard would help the team more going into VT. Tackling by the LB's wasn't great going into that game and Dillard is a physical player, he had a good game IMO. I think Dillard earned more time with the 1's and Lawrence will have to work to get up there again.

 
I still think that Dillard was suspsened for two games( No inside info just a hunch) I think it is funny how a guy can get no playing time in the first two games then be the starter in the third and fourth. It screams double secret probation type stuff here.

 
Or he was in the doghouse but given one last chance , and when he made the most of it he worked himself back up into the rotation.
