I am pretty sure we have consistently beat Minnesota for quite some time, and I am more than confident that we will continue to beat them consistently. So they beat us this year with our QB injured and our first week without a 3rd round draft pick of an OL (Long). Hagemann was a BEAST that game, and you know Long would have had a fun time containing him. Also, anyone who knows how our defense grew this year knew that our Defense didn't have it together then.
Also, when was the last time we lost to NW? 2011. Who cares that we needed a hail mary to win the last game? I'd take a hail mary game win with the stadium almost full at the end of the game with everyone yelling "GO BIG RED!!" any day over a blowout game with the stadium 25% full halfway through the 4th quarter. It's moments like those that make sports so special. Seeing Abdullah also make a clutch play to keep that drive alive was just a feat that not many players have the ability to do. I don't care who the competition is. Every championship team will tell you a W is a W, even our championship teams.
And who honestly cares about what they do with the stadium? If you are quantifying our perceived success and how that perception needs to be maintained because we've got new speakers in the stadium, I have to question that persons priorities and where their loyalties lie.
I am not saying that I am questioning yours, but there needs to be more to the debate you want to start than "the stadium is getting better..." I also know that you did not want that to come out that way, but that is the way that came off. If you want to be taken seriously, and not be called a troll as some have on this board, then I would suggest not throwing things out there just for the sake of throwing things out there just to be heard. Because to be honest, that is how you come off. Otherwise, you'll be consistently ignored by numerous people who don't know your line of work.
