it is hilarious that challenging the pro-bo echo chamber is considered "trolling". is this a message board for discussion or a symposium for bo apologists.

the only threads that get any action are the ones where people are debating, yet they are the ones that are apparently ruining this board. pretty sure there are tons of threads about how good spring practice went and things like that, but they fall to the wayside because no one is discussing in them. then a thread comes up where an argument arises, gets a lot of play, and everyone begrudges it. good lord, get over it.

Except I have opinions and solutions. I've offered up on who I might want to see NU go after as a coach, how to fix present issues, and who I like on the team (spoiler nearly everyone, I dont hate on players except for a few). They get forgotten or fall on deaf ears. The modus operandi of this board has always been to belittle those who do not 100% support the coach. It was that way with Solich, Callahan and now.

Everyone's vision is to run the ball, play good defense, and not turn the ball over.

I agree that our secondary is usually fundamentally sound, but the past few years have not been in the same stratosphere as 2009 and 2010. The entire secondary is a toss up this year. I am bigger than our most experienced corner and I do not like that. Josh Mitchell is a decent player at best.

Ross Els is still our special teams coach so I don't see us improving there. If we do improve by a large margin this year it is a serious indictment on the staff. Why the hell was there no effort there last year? Kicking game is a mystery as well.

I expect to lose one game simply because the other team is more talented. One game because of quarterback play. One game because of turnovers. One game because we were out coached, or because of special teams (Iowa last year). Most consider me a hater but there are lots of question marks and not many reasons to believe that things will jut click this year.

1. So because that's other coaches "vision" it doesn't count? TIL Saban doesn't have a vision.

2. The "entire secondary" is pretty solid except one corner spot. Cooper and Alexander are studs. Gerry is also going to be very good. Mitchell is ok, and Jackson will play well in the nickel.

3. Els was overworked IMO. We'll see if the punt game improves. Our "kicking game" has been excellent under Bo. Bondi is a KOS ala Adi Kunalic, we lost Pat Smith, hence to poor kicking in the SG. Drew Brown will take that job and excel.

4. Great, that's why they play the games. Every team has question marks. We'll see what happens.

Let me clarify this once and for all. Im a fan of Nebraska above all else. If Bo were gone tomorrow and Billy C was brought back as his replacement Id be pissed but youd still have to rip my Husker apparell from my cold dead fingers. Bo is not above the Univesity. If he goes too far they can fire him. He has toed the line but hasnt crossed it IMO.

If he leaves or is fired Ill support him but my heart remains forever Nebraska. I dont care if a Monkey is the next head coach (insert Polo joke about how Bo IS a monkey) Im still going to support the team. No you dont have to like or support Bo to support Nebraska. But there sure as hell isnt anything wrong with being a Husker fan and a Bo supporter. Call me an appologist all you want, call me a Bo jock rider. I like his passion, his vision and his style. If you dont thats fine. Just remember we could do alot worse, and thats doesnt mean we couldnt get anyone better either. Bo is the right fit right now, and until that changes Im good with him sporting a big red N every week.

it is nice to hold our coaches to the same standards as the players, who take their cues from the coaches.

Burkhead was given an outstanding game plan, he just didn't execute.

If this is in regards to the B1G CCG, former players have stated that teammates didn't follow the game plan and screwed the pooch.
