Bo's Dline for next year

The dline was a huge question mark coming in to this season. The unit has stepped up and played better than last year. With Pierre Allen, Barry Turner, Ndamukong Suh, and Baker Steinkuhler as the likely starters, What do you guys think about 2009 dline crew?

Getting a year of coaching with Bo should make the D-line better. I guess that goes for the rest of the defense as well.

 
i think the d-line will be the strong point of the team again next season....

its hard to say though. i expect a lot of improvement from the whole team, and you just never know who's going to step up in the off-season.

 
I have a feeling that the D is going to have to carry this team next year, with not having an experienced QB. But one bright spot is that the O line is coming around, too, and we have a couple of backs that look really strong. As far as QB goes, we have a lot of good possibilities there...but they don't have experience, and that is going to hurt. The D will get plenty of time to do their thing next year, hopefully they will have some depth.

 
Baker will prolly move back over to the O-side. We might even see little Ricky Henry switch to D and anchor the tackle spot next to Suh. It's just my thoughts, no inside info. Would prefer to see Henry's intesity & aggro on Defense. :horns

I definately think the D-Line next year will be even better than this year. Turner and Allen on the ends would be one of the best combos we have seen in awhile. Suh has a shot to become Glen Dorsey like if he continues is level of play. Several young DT's are getting time right now and Baker might get into the mix next year. I think the upgrade at DE will be the biggest factor, combine that with a solid push up the middle and we should see a lot of sacks IMO.

 
I think the D-line will be the best unit for the team next season. With the guys we have returning there is no reason they shouldn't be stuffing the run and pressuring the QB every game.

 
I think Jared Crick, Terrence Moore, and Quentin Toailoa could play a major role on the D line next year as well...

 
I REALLY hope some of the young ins at the DT position really step it up this spring time as I'd really like to see Baker play on the O-line. NU hasn't had a dominant O-lineman in a long time. 2001 Fonoti was the last stud.
