Any one else catch it? Bo seemed cautious about what he wanted to say but at the same time, he had a sense of honesty about his comments
I didn't take it like that. He saw problems with the play an said we need to correct it. and he said it starts with him. What you've just described is called maturity.
Which would do ... what exactly? Now is the time to fire JP if they are going to fire him mid-season...
Bo needs to make a change on D.
Perfect with the bye week coming up...
I'm not into the scheme debate. One of Jay Foreman's articles helped convince me scheme is not the issue. I like our young talent and I liked the adjustments and coaching from Pelini today.he should and once he changes scheme that talent may flourish
We played about as good of a half defensively last year against Arkansas State after Bo went to the hospital. This D is young and is not consistent right now. Way too many ups and downs (mostly downs), but they can be very good (see 1st half of UCLA).Here's my one and only issue with Bo and his defensive management. Bo's calling the d, right? This is obvious to everyone by now? Ok good. As a head coach, does he really have the time during the week to handle all the things a head coach has to do and still analyze film and be as prepared as necessary to handle play calling duties in any phase? This is why I would just like to Papuchis handle the play calling duties on D with some input from Bo. Right now it seems to be the other way around. Folks want to blame Papuchis, but i dont think he's doing anything to warrant that.
For a bad first quarter? SDSU managed to put up a lot of yards for an FCS school, but 200 yards and 17 points of that came in the first quarter. We looked pretty good after that, I thought. The King said:Now is the time to fire JP if they are going to fire him mid-season...
