Bosa, Marshall Suspended for tOSU's game vs. Virginia Tech

Ohio State All-American defensive end Joey Bosa, hybrid backs Jalin Marshall and Dontre Willson, and receiver Corey Smith are suspended from the defending national champion’s season opener at Virginia Tech on Sept. 7 due to unspecified violations of athletic department policy, Ohio State confirmed for The Dispatch on Thursday.


Coach Urban Meyer perhaps will discuss the situation more when he speaks during the Big Ten preseason kickoff media days here at McCormick Place.

Perhaps he will tell everyone that it is an internal matter and will not discuss it in public.

Meyer wouldn't address nature of violations. They're internal -- violations of team policies. That's as far as he'd go.
