I think allowing Barney to do that is OK.

It gives the old regime one last time to work together.

Meanwhile, Riley gets to evaluate not only players..........but staff!

 
I don't mind it at all...but it seems like it would also make sense to start installing his system BUT he is probably not super worried about that just yet.

 
Get the seniors out of the way before you start installing his system. I don't mean to sound harsh but the seniors are basically useless to him.

 
We may just have a chance yet to end our season on good note. I seriously doubt team will got out and lay an egg for their old coach. They will play balls-out for new coach... still curious who opponent will be and what Vegas will open our game with.

 
Riley would gain almost nothing from coaching it and it could potentially be a disaster. On top of that, right now he needs to be talking to all of the recruits now.

 
What happens to the assistant coaches, and how in the world we'll they put together a game plan for the defense? It's impossible now..
