Team HuskerBoard
Rules: One entry PER PERSON - not member name. We know some of you have multiple accounts, and we know who you are. When used in contests that we are nice enough to offer free Husker Gear from, this is a low blow in our opinion, and unfair to other members who only have one chance to participate. If you use multiple accounts to create multiple entries for this contest, all of your entries will be null, and this will be considered your final warning. For ANY future violation (at the discretion of the Mods) all of your member names will be permanently suspended.
Okay, now to the good stuff.
Here's how it works:
1) Copy and paste the below Bowl Games into your post below
2) Select the winner of each game
3) Assign your "confidence level" for each game. i.e. give a "score" to each, from 1-27 (27=Most Confident). There are 28 bowl games, but to give everyone a chance to get their picks in, we aren't using the New Orleans Bowl in the overall point calculation. If we used the NO Bowl we would need to close this contest on Tuesday, which doesn't allow much of an opp to get your picks in.
EXAMPLE of Pick:
CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL
Orlando
Dec. 21, 7:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Georgia Tech (6-5) vs. Syracuse (6-5)
Syracuse: 14 (the "weighting" assigned to this game)
4) You may only use each "score" from 1-27 ONCE. If you use the same score multiple times, the second game it's used in will be counted, and the first will be ignored, forfeiting that game's potential to earn points.
5) The tie-breaker is the score of the OU-USC game.
6) The member with the most points at the end of the bowl season will win - not the member with the most correct picks.
7) The top 2 point scorers will each win Huskerboard points.
1st Place: 15 HuskerBoard Points
2nd Place: 5 HuskerBoard Points
Review the point redemption guidelines here: http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/contest.htm#payout
8) Make only one post below - if you need to make a change you may "edit" your post up to the kickoff for the CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL on Dec 21st - after that this thread will be locked and all posts submitted will be final.
9) Please don't use this thread for discussion. Feel free to start a new thread in the "More Sports" forum to discuss the games or your picks.
