It just seems odd that players can get all this stuff from the bowl sponsors. But in other situations a player gets in hot water if someone buys him a sammich. Funny that.

these are bowl games giving away things to teams that qualify and get selected for their specific bowl game, not someone affiliated with any specific team rewarding their own players...
