Bowl Ticket Packages

Hey all,

My wife and I are planning to go to our first NU Bowl Game this year.

Any advice on who to use to purchase bowl game packages?

We really do not know where to start, but any help would be great!

Some people like buying them through the bowl itself. But I think that I am going to just wait and see what local travel agencies have to offer. Im thinking they might do just about anything to get some business in these times, so you might be able to work with them a bit.

 
I would start with the NU Alumni pkg travel with team cheerleaders and pep rally

I would leave from Lincoln airport if possible free parking less congested

 
The packages will be probably advertised in the Lincoln/Omaha papers Sunday if it is announced where we 'officially' are going.

I've been to several bowl games and have purchased tickets through Huskers.com and made my own travel arrangements...

But the travel packages are attractive for those that want everything preplanned and details taken care of for them and don't mind paying for this 'service' and convenience.

 
For what it's worth. I used Executive Travel to go to Los Angeles for the USC game a few years ago. They did a great job. That was the only time I've traveled that way, but I was impressed. But like I said, I have nothing to compare it to, other than taking off with an atlas or internet directions.
