Brackets are easier when your team isn't in it.

All-Conference
This marks the 2nd consecutive year that Clemson has made the big dance, and I have found these last two years that it is much harder to pick the brackets when they're in the tourney. Last year, I picked them to go to the Elite 8 after their run the the ACC Championship game, and they lost the opening game against Villanova. It tears you apart as a fan.

So do you pick with your brain or your heart?

It is so tough to pick against your team. So this year I have my Tigers losing in the second round to Oklahoma. That way, if they lose, I picked it right, if they win, I'm happy cause they made it to the Sweet 16. Win-win in my eyes.

I smell what you are stepping in.

I am thinking about making a last minute change taking my tar heels out of a title game. Tough call.

Never. And I think you can count all time appearances on one hand. Doc getting the huskers to 8-8 in the big 12 was the first .500 record in conference play in 10 years.

Wow. I thought we had a bad basketball program over the years.

At least you Huskers have football!

it is a tough dilemma, I try as hard as I can to go with my brain and in basketball it is usually easy unless I am filling out an NIT bracket (get it ;) NU is never in the big dance). But for other bets it is hard.

And even using your brain can have a bias, because you know more about your team and the teams they have played
