I don't follow HS football in Nebraska much anymore but I just looked at his stuff on Rivals..

If he's so good why does he have no other D1 offers (usually KSU or Iowa State or someone at least throws an offer to the top walkon prospects)

Also, if he fits the offense so well, does he run faster than Rival's reported 4.7 speed? I don't consider 4.7 speed fast for a spread option QB.

I'm not knocking the kid, his record and those stats are very impressive... but it does seem a little concerning.

With Green and Spano gone plus Bubba not likely coming we need this kid. All our other qb's will have to be game-prepped. We need a decent qb to run the scout-team O. Plus he can at-least provide some future depth. Don't see him as a big read-option guy but he has credible mobility and he can pass. He could likely manage the O if called-upon.

This is why we keep committing time and energy into the walk-on program, to get a few guys like this per class that will help this program.
