So does this mean that Kstate is a better job then Nebraska when they hire a guy that just got fired from the BIG? I'm glad we got Miles when we did, otherwise we would have been going after leftovers like the kitties.

It's damn close. If I was a coach looking for a job I'd take NU over KSU for a number of reasons.
-KSU has an idiot AD
-More pressure with the KSU job: Martin was a great coach who brought them back to prominence, its a hard act to follow
-Shaky conference future. There's a good chance KSU will be forced into a mid major conference when the Big XII collapses.
-I've never been to Lincoln but just comparing Manhattan and Lincoln on paper I think Lincoln is probably the better town. Living here I can say that Manhattan is one of the crappiest college towns I've ever been to.
-Facilities...gotta hand it to NU on this one when Pinnacle is finished.
-KSU has the upper-hand as far as fan support goes but that's a double edged sword. Yes NU is a football school but that's what I'd want if I need to avoid scrutiny while building my program.
-More room to grow. For NU the conference is more wide open and easier to move up and down the pecking order. There's no Kansas to beat you down instate every year.
Gotta love how proud they are of that ...U-Turn....masquerading as a legitimate football stadium to the extent that they flaunt it in a basketball thread about somebody else's ex-coach..........
