I'm with you BRB. There is plenty of great music that was created during the 80's just like there is in every decade. The reason why you and I most likely think it was great was because we lived through it as the music of our youth. Hedley probably wasn't even born yet.

Have to agree. Of course those were my 'formative' years (or is that formula years- I guess I was off the baby food then). High school and college. While I was more mild rock (CSNY, Young, The Who, Guess Who, Eagles, America, 3 Dog Night) I occasionally got into Deep Purple and a few groups like that.
