Orlando, FL -- An Orlando man remains in jail, charged with spraying a grocery store employee in the face with bug killer.
Investigators said 48-year-old Robert Carroll sprayed the insecticide on a 19-year-old man inside a Publix store on John Young Parkway. The victim told police earlier this week that Carroll was upset that he'd bagged the bug spray with food.
"My husband told him not to put the bug spray in with the food," Peggy Carroll said.
Police said Publix has surveillance video that clearly shows the attack.
The victim wasn't physically injured, because police said he was wearing glasses. He told detectives he thought the attack was racially motivated.
Carroll is now charged with aggravated battery.
