Bulldogs up for more pain

Fresno State took quite a few lumps during Saturday's 36-21 loss to Cal at Candlestick Park, and afterward coach Pat Hill seemed to be preparing the fan base for a few more.

With a trip to Nebraska looming, the Bulldogs are staring at their first 0-2 start since 2000.

"I still believe this will be a very, very good football team," Hill said during the postgame news conference. "We had a lot of new guys. There's a lot of moving parts. We're going to go through a few growing pains." Those pains could get even more acute Saturday when Fresno State visits 86,000-seat Memorial Stadium, home of the 10th ranked Cornhuskers.

Sounds to me like he's sandbagging. They're hoping to catch us overlooking them, focusing on the Huskies, and he's hoping to pull another Fresno State Special.

I think Bo and Beck will have both units focused and ready to go. I don't see us overlooking these guys.

Agreed Knapp, I think we will see the offense execute and the defense just flat out dominate up front.
